A TRUCKIE has chosen an unusual parking spot for his rig today, finding himself in a bit of a jam.

The driver pulled into a petrol station in Box Hill when his truck become wedged under the service station canopy.

Firefighters said they were scratching their heads as to how to get the truck out of the jam.

"Every time we move the truck backwards or forwards the canopy is moving with it," a MFB spokesman said.

The truck is wedged under the roof of the Shell service station on the corner of Middleborough and Springfield roads.
