ALESSANDRO Del Piero is weighing up his future, with a move to Thai club, PTT Rayong being considered, reports from Asia claim.

Goal Malaysia say newly-promoted Thai club, PTT Rayong, have made moves to sign the former Juventus captain and World Cup winner at the end of the A-League season.

Rayong coach, Peter Withe confirmed the interested in the 39-year-old.

"Del Piero? You sure you want to ask me about that?" White said.

"Okay listen, now my friend is in Sydney. You know Sydney FC, right? Now my friend's there. So it's up to Mr. Del Piero whether he signs the deal or not. If he signs, he'll be here. If he's not, he'll stay at Sydney. That's it!"

The club is owned by Petroleum Authority of Thailand - the nation's richest company - and earned promotion to the Thai Premier League this season.

The reports claim club representatives will meet with Del Piero's brother and agent in Brazil and will also attempt to poach the veteran's former Juventus teammate, Vincenzo Iaquinta.
