TWO teenage girls have been charged after torturing a 16-year-old autistic boy with a knife and forcing him to engage in a sex act with an animal all while they filmed him.
Lauren Bush, 17, and an unnamed 15-year-old accomplice were arrested after one of their mothers found the video on their phone and alerted the Maryland school that they attend.
The pair allegedly put a knife to the boy's throat and made him walk out on a frozen pond, failing to help him as he fell through the ice on a number of occasions. It is also claimed that they kicked him in the groin and dragged him by the hair.
Sheriff Tim Cameron told the Daily News that the "heinous" allegations are some of the worst he has ever seen.
"The victim was forced to masturbate and then copulate with a family pet," he said. "It's beyond comprehension."
He said the victim did sustain injuries from the torture but was not aware of the full extent of those.
"I'm hoping our investigation will get some answers. It's hard to fathom," he said. "This is heinous and shocking. Why would someone show such hatred and evil to a person?"
The girls have admitted filming the acts but so far police haven't been given any reason as to why.
So far the girls have been charged with assault, soliciting a subject in the production of child pornography, and false imprisonment, but more charges may be filed.
Lauren Bush will be charged as an adult, while the other is being charged as a juvenile. Bush has been released on bail while the 15-year-old is still in a juvenile detention centre.
