SCROLLING through Natasha Oakley's Instagram feed is like flicking through a travel brochure of the world's most magnificent beaches.

The 23-year-old bikini blogger and one glamorous half of "swimwear marketing platform" A Bikini A Day, makes a living by posing for bikini photos in exotic locations.

Oakley, who grew up in Sydney but spends most of her time in Los Angeles, travels the world with her best friend Devin Brugman, creating content to share with their 392,000 Instagram followers and the tens of thousands of women who read their website.

The premise is simple (and easily marketable) — two hot girls in stunning locations wearing pretty bikinis.

The duo started A Bikini A Day in 2012, where they toted a suitcase of bikinis to places such as California and Hawaii, uploading a bikini photo of themselves daily.

Now, through sponsored content, ambassador roles, an online store and their own bikini line — Monday Swimwear — Oakley and Brugman have made A Bikini A Day their full time job.

Most people spend months, sometimes years, saving and planning for an overseas holiday. Not for these ladies.

"It all happens very last minute to be honest," Oakley, who was in town for her role as ambassador for Veet's Natural Inspirations range, told news.com.au. "We just make the world our office."

And there's no such thing as an 'average' day at work.

"I wear many hats," says Oakley. "[My day] will range from shooting all day on a beautiful beach, other days I'll be doing more admin and managerial work, responding to a lot of emails.

"I'll always try and fit in a workout. Otherwise I'm just exploring the places that I'm travelling to.

"I've got a bit of a travel bug myself. I'll always be shooting in amazing places and it can be a bit dull at times. I just always want to be out going exploring new places."

Oakley says they don't travel with a production crew or hair and makeup team, preferring the freedom of travelling alone.

"I used to own a photo and video production company.," she said. "I've trained Devin to be a photographer so we shoot each other. Any photo or video you see on Instagram or our website has been created by us."

Oakley is a frequent sight on the Aussie fashion scene — News.com.au spotted her sitting front row with French beau Martin Medus at the Myer Spring Summer Fashion Parade last week.

Swimwear brands now approach Oakley and Brugman with lookbooks and samples, hoping to get their product seen by a huge female audience.

"We have a really thorough process and we select the pieces we only want to," said Oakley. "When it comes down to it we want to put out the best stuff that is a good fit with the site.

But it's their healthy, toned bodies that attract the most attention, with fans always asking for exercise and food tips.

"That's what we have feedback on the most. Most girls are really inspired by that and it's great."
