MOHAMMED Emwazi has reportedly apologised to his family for the problems he has caused them after being unmasked as ISIS executioner 'Jihadi John'.
The Sunday Times of London reports that the 26-year-old, a British computer science graduate, expressed his remorse from Syria through a third party.

However the University of Westminster graduate has not apologised for the on-camera beheadings of Western hostages or his involvement in the terrorist network.
Experts say the apology was disingenuous or self-interested, as Muslims who disrespect their parents are believed to go to hell, The Independent reports.

Emwazi reportedly escaped Britain in 2013 by hiding in a freight lorry before travelling to Turkey and onto Syria.
How a potential terrorist suspect managed to slip through the net and fall into the clutches of extremists has been the subject of continuing arguments over the role security services and authorities.
New emails suggest the man known as 'Jihadi John' had suicidal thoughts before leaving UK for Syria.
In a 2010 email exchange with Mail on Sunday security editor Robert Verkaikat, Emwazi said he considered suicide after coming face-to-face with what he suspected to be a British intelligence official as he attempted to sell a laptop computer.
He said he felt harassed by security services in a series of emails in 2010, three years before he left to join Islamic State, saying: "Sometimes I feel like a dead man walking, not fearing they (MI5) may kill me.

He continued: "Rather, fearing that one day, I'll take as many pills as I can so that I will sleep for ever! I just want to get away from these people!"
Kuwait-born Londoner Emwazi had been pinpointed as a potential terrorist by the British authorities but was nonetheless able to travel to Syria in 2013 and join a group responsible for the murder of several Western hostages.
