Secret code ... Google co-founder Sergey Brin's first resume contained hidden code requesting a job with "a large office, good pay, and very little work". Source: AFP
AN old copy of Google's Sergey Brin's resumé has surfaced, showcasing his work, research and hacks before he co-founded the search giant with Larry Page while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford back in 1998.
Brin, now worth $US31 billion ($34.1 billion), buried his career objective in the document's HTML code — right-click and select "inspect element" to view source code, and this pops up:
"<!–< H4>Objective:< /H4> A large office, good pay, and very little work. Frequent expense-account trips to exotic lands would be a plus.–>"
The resumé was posted on Hacker News on Friday.
Back then, Brin was working on a Netflix-like movie-rating project that would predict which movies you may want to watch based on other users' reviews.
Today, Brin runs the secretive Google X, a laboratory exploring the latest in tech futurism, including self-driving cars, Google Glass and contact lenses that measure glucose.
