SO SOME tennis advertisers and lucrative sponsors have sparked an on-court dressing row.

Spare us the shrieks of faux sexism as a merry gang of conservatives have expressed moral outrage about the placement of, umm, logos.

Can you believe there are some players who have dragged down the cause of all women by daring to have the upper torsos of their dresses or tennis Tees emblazoned with sponsor logos.

Throw them to the lions. Burn them at the stake. Stat.

Here we have incredibly fit, healthy sportswoman whose number one aim is to play and win at a sport they are bloody good at, the least of their worries is where the sponsor logos are placed.

Do we complain when we see a much needed sponsor plastered their logo on the tight shirt of a footy player? Or on his back, Or on the backside of his shorts?

This is just ridiculously ludicrous.

Women have breasts. They are (at times) a large part our anatomy. End of story.

So why do they even need to be referred to in a sexual way? They are just part of our bodies and can be used by a woman, anyway that woman pleases. Even if that includes placing a logo over their breasts.

'I Touch Myself' is the latest campaign aimed at all woman who should do exactly that, just so they may just become aware of any potential threat of breast cancer.

There is nothing sleazy or sexual about that.

Not everything that happens to draw our attention - and in this case it may be a sponsor logo sewn onto the top half of a tennis Tee - should be considered sleazy or sexy.

It is hard enough for female sportswomen to garner big sponsorship bucks at any time, but when I look at all of these pictures of sponsor logos I don't, for one minute, think 'Phwoar, here's a Pammy Anderson or Brynne Edelsten moment'.

Given the lack of sleeves on most female tennis players outfits, where the hell else are much-needed and appreciated logos supposed to go? Inside their shirts or on the inside soles of their designer tennis shoes?

Have you ever heard anyone complain when a male tennis player changes his sweat-wet shirt during a game? Nope. Just more shrieks of fun and harmless delight as opposed to claim of blatant sexism.

The major culprits seem to be Italian player Camila Giorgi, currently ranked number 54 in the world and whose mum designs her on-court outfits.

Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska made sure her sponsors received attention when she whacked her balls at Italian Open in Rome this week while Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova also showed some logo action over her cleavage at the Italian Open, too.

After all is said, it's totally up to the players to determine whether they like or whether they want sponsor names emblazoned on their chests. It certainly doesn't distress me in the slightest.

And hey, what's the old advertising adage? You place ads where people will see them the most.

OK, some will be up-in-arms about that comment but honestly it is NOT up to you or me to play Fashion Police and tell them to get their logos removed.

Let the players decide. They're big, strong and bright enough to do what they want.
