WHILE the Golden Globes is one big party, the real fun happens after the event - and backstage.

HBO, Warner Bros / InStyle, Weinstein Co, Fox and NBC Universal all threw glamorous shindigs for the Hollywood types to let their hair down and celebrate their achievements.

And as the day after the night before starts to dawn, the most interesting news begins to surface.

Cooper and Lawrence dating?

RUMOURS swirled that Bradley Cooper, 38, was dating his Silver Linings Playbook co-star, Jennifer Lawrence, 22,  but Cooper made sure he went and truly quashed that one.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "Oh my God. That's very funny. No, my God. No… We've done two movies together. If it didn't happen by now, it's not going to happen. No, no, no, no, no. Not even close. First of all, I could be her father. No, I'm kidding. But no, not even close.

"I could literally be her father."

So, was that a no, Bradley?

Hough embarassing!

JULIANNE Hough confessed she may have "danced too hard" when her dress suffered two enormous rips at the Golden Globes after party, tearing the designer gown all the way up to her crutch.

But the star took it all in her stride and posted two pictures of the wardrobe malfunction on social media to share with her followers.

"Ummm I think I may have danced too hard.... Eeek!!!!" she wrote.

Adding: "Ummm again... I love to dance regardless of how expensive a dress may be... You can't hold me down!!! :)."

Taylor's "stink eye"

MUCH has been made about Taylor Swift's reaction to Adele's Golden Globes win, with some suggesting she gave her "the stink eye" after the Brit beat her for Best Original Song.

The country singer has been accused of making a major "sourpuss" face as Adele, 24, accepted her Golden Globe for song, Skyfall.

GIFs of the singer's reaction have started to go viral, suggesting Tay-Tay was "not impressed".

No gown for K-Stew!

KRISTEN Stewart joined Robert Pattinson at a Golden Globes after party, but didn't even bother to glam up for the affair.

The Twilight Saga couple put on a united front at award hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's private celebration held at Soho House.

While Rob looked dapper as he walked the red carpet, Stewart avoided the Golden Globes altogether and arrived at the VIP after-party in more casual attire at 1am.

She teamed jeans and a baggy sweatshirt with trainers and a backwards cap, hiding her eyes behind shades as she snuck into the star-studded event.

Adele is still not giving up her baby's name

ADELE, who took home a Best Original Song Golden Globe finally explained the silence over three-month old son's name backstage at the Globes.

"I am not sharing his name at the moment. It is very personal to me. I am enjoying him on my own," she told reporters.

Asked how motherhood has changed her, she said: "I am exhausted, that's how [motherhood] changed me. I have eczema from boiling bottles."

The British singer welcomed the little boy into the world in October alongside her partner Simon Konecki.

J.Lo, Casper and the ex encounter

JENNIFER Lopez and her boy toy Casper Smart had an "awkward" encounter with her ex Diddy at the Weinstein after-party. Onlookers report while the trio remained cordial, they were all quite uncomfortable.

A source told Hollyscoop: "Jennifer and Casper had a somewhat awkward run-in with Diddy last night. It is the first time Jennifer has seen him in years and everyone was watching when they went up to say hello to him.

"They were cordial to each other but she didn't hug him. Casper shook Diddy's hand and it was very brief. She looked like she was trying to avoid the hello, but it was impossible."

Jennifer, 43, has been dating Casper, 25, for just over a year.

Selena loving life after Bieber

NOW that Selena Gomez is a single lady after splitting with Justin Bieber, it seems she is keen to make the most of her new-found freedom.

Perez Hilton reports Gomez was seen dancing the night away with Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson and reportedly left the party with him, holding hands.

Jones doesn't see the funny side

TOMMY LEE Jones was another celeb who didn't look too impressed during the ceremony.

During Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig's attempt to praise the movies they never watched, while most people were laughing uproariously, Jones cast a stern look that was more angry than entertained.

"His gray goatee only made his scowl look more pronounced" says the Los Angeles Times.

Tarantino won't apologise for N-word

QUENTIN Tarantino also raised a few eyebrows when he dropped the N-word less than a minute into his press conference backstage.

E Online reports the usually bustling room went dead silent, with one reporter even letting out an "oh boy" upon hearing the controversial word.

But Tarantino refused to apologise for his use of the N-word in his film Django Unchained, saying that critics are suggesting he should "lie" and "whitewash" his 19th century characters instead.
