ENGLAND cricket legend Sir Ian Botham was trending on Twitter for all the wrong reasons Monday night after a lewd picture was sent from his account.

The picture, which has since been deleted, shows a fully naked man lying on his back on a bed.

It leaves nothing to the imagination.

There was also a message, which may yet prove rather ironic: "What are you thinking," it read.

Moments after the picture was sent to his 309,000 followers, the 58-year-old Botham claimed his account had been hacked.

Robbie Savage informed Botham: "mate think you been hacked."

To which Botham responded: "Yes mate just changed my password !!! There's some idiots out there !!"

Either way, the Twitterati weren't going to let the image go unnoticed.

Botham is regarded one of England's finest ever cricketers — and one of the greatest all-rounders of all time — scoring 5,200 runs and taking 383 wickets in 102 Tests.
