WONDER-BAT David Warner emulated greats from Don Bradman to Adam Gilchrist with a third-straight Test century before Australia imploded against Pakistan in Dubai.
Australia had wanted to show its wares against spin and reverse swing in Asia where it has won one of 13 Tests since 2008. Instead, inability to deal with and exploit foreign conditions has consumed Australia in the field then at the crease.

Australia was 8-282 at tea – trailing Pakistan's first innings total by 172 runs and designs on the 2-0 scoreline required for the No.1 Test ranking fading fast. Mitchell Johnson was not out 22 and Steve O'Keefe not out on 4.
Warner' ninth Test century was punctuated by controlled aggression and was dislodged by a jaffa from uncapped leg-spinner Yasir Shah (2-55).
Jubilance at Warner's milestone with a boundary off Imran Khan (1-41) accompanied by trademark jump and kiss of the helmet – was soon dampened.
Opener Chris Rogers (38), No.3 Alex Doolan (5), skipper Michael Clarke (2) and Steve Smith (22) all departed in a morning session collapse of 4-78. Smith, an assured force against spin, was at ease in a 48 run stand with Warner before a telling lapse in concentration.
The visitors' downfall continued when Warner fell the third ball after lunch without adding to his score. Brad Haddin (22) failed to replicated his Ashes heroics and hit Australia out of trouble while debutant Mitch Marsh (27) was well deceived by left-arm tweaker Babar.
