J-Lo’s a smokin’ hot ‘threat’

HOLLYWOOD'S hottest stars have hit the red carpet for the inaugural People Magazine Awards in Los Angeles.

But first, let's talk about Jennifer Lopez. The 45-year-old singer sizzled in a sparkly cream-coloured jumpsuit with plenty of cleavage on show. The daring look was one nudge away from an embarrassing nip slip but there was no wardrobe malfunction to speak of. Not only did J-Lo nail it in the outfit department, she also took home the award for Triple Threat.

Special mention must also go to Kate Hudson, who dazzled in a floaty, floor-length, one shoulder gown with embellished branchlike design.

The actress, who recently split from Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, was honoured with the Role Model award at the ceremony held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

"This is a beautiful honour," the 35-year-old star said as she accepted the accolade. "Life is a journey with its ups and downs, its challenges and its triumphs. Don't ever let anyone ever push you around."

Other big winners included Jennifer Aniston, who took home the actress honour, Michael Keaton was awarded the actor gong, and Kate Upton with People's Sexiest Woman award.

The star-studded event included performances from Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, 5 Seconds of Summer and Maroon 5.
