WHAT'S your brekkie of choice: porridge, Vegemite on toast, scrambled eggs? How about tackling the "Hibernator" at the Bear Grills cafe in Congleton, in Northern England ...

This humungous fry-up, so named because "if anyone completes it, they'll have to sleep for a year" includes four fried eggs, eight bacon rashers, eight sausages, four hash browns, a four-egg cheese omelet, four waffles, four pieces of toast, four pieces of fried bread, four pieces of black pudding, two scoops of baked beans, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, chips, and a 1 litre milkshake.

Total kilojoule count: more than 33,000. That's four times the average male's total daily allowance. And all for just £19.95.

Bear Grills owner Mark Winder makes customers sign a waiver before ordering the Hibernator, just in case it makes you very, very ill. Nobody has made it through the monster feed yet, but Winder is offering a refund to anyone who does.

He told Metro: "Younger guys come in, and it is all men who have tried the challenge, and they look at the ingredients up on the board and say: 'I am going to smash that.'

"But then they see it come out on the big platter all heaped high and start to cry on the phone to their friends. They give up after about twenty minutes."
